The community offers many amenities, to include a Beach Club in Ocean City, MD, numerous indoor and outdoor pools, a Yacht Club, marinas, a golf course, sports courts, tot lots, nature trails, and a farmers market in season. Ocean Pines is unique in the way that it structures it’s community fees. All homeowners have a flat HOA fee that covers the general community upkeep, trash, road maintenance, leaf removal, snow removal, and more, and condo owners may also have an additional condo fee for the maintenance of their condo building and insurances. For use of the amenities, Ocean Pines offers an “a-la-carte” payment option, where homeowners can pick and choose which amenities they would like to enjoy, and leave those that they won’t use. For instance, you can pay to join the Aquatics Membership and enjoy all of the community pools, but not partake in the Golf Membership. This helps to keep the fees economical for it’s residents while giving them everything they could hope for in an amenity package.
